Barb Kallestad enjoys painting original watercolors of all subject matter, especially Tahoe scenes. The lake and all its huge boulders, ski areas, wooden boats, and pinecones are the subjects of most paintings. Portraiture of people & pets, still life, western art and Hot August Night cars round out the remaining subjects.
Barb is a traditional artist who has a passion for striving to paint the best watercolor possible! She was educated at the School of Associated Arts in St. Paul, MN and the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy.
